Gotta Go Fast
Awesome Games Done Quick, commonly referred to as AGDQ, kicks off tomorrow! If you are a gamer and have never heard of Games Done Quick (GDQ) you’ll be wishing you had found out about this great cause sooner. So what is AGDQ? To keep things simple GDQ events are charity events that benefit organizations like The Prevent Cancer Foundation and Doctors Without Borders. Incredible speedrunners join in and put on a show cruising through games in a fraction of the amount of time it would normally take to complete the games. To date GDQ has raised over 28 million dollars for charity.

GDQ typically puts on two larger events in the course of a year: AGDQ and SGDQ (Awesome Games Done Quick and Summer Games Done Quick perspectively). Its very cool to see the gaming community come together every year and support this cause and enjoy some great games. Due to COVID restrictions the event will not be held in-person as is typical but will rather be held virtually. The event will run non-stop from Jan. 3rd – Jan. 10th. You can find the schedule here: AGDQ 2021 Schedule
So you found what you want to watch and when, but how do you watch it? You can catch AGDQ Live from their Twitch stream here: www.twitch.tv/gamesdonequick
